President Donald Trump lashed out on Twitter on Tuesday against Republican leaders over a GOP plan to repeal and replace ObamaCare.
Trump tweeted: “Republicans should start acting like they are serious about repeal and replacement.
ObamaCare is dead!”
The President is using this tweet to highlight GOP leadership’s failure to get health care passed in the House.
Trump tweeted that “GOP leaders should start treating health care as a business and not a public good.”
In a statement, House Speaker Paul Ryan said the bill “doesn’t repeal Obamacare and it doesn’t fix it,” but it “does give Americans the tools they need to stay healthy and stay in their jobs.
And it does so while giving more people access to coverage.
The House will vote on the final version of the legislation on Thursday.”
The House passed the legislation Tuesday.
The bill passed the House last week and the Senate is expected to vote on it Wednesday.
